This is a wonderful opportunity for an experienced BIM specialist to join a Bridges, Tunnels and Marine Structures (BTM) team. You will become part of BTM's worldwide network of more than 1,300 dedicated and highly skilled design engineers engaged in some of the world's most complex, iconic and challenging schemes.
You will be one of the key people of the further development for the on-going implementation of BIM in the Tunnels and Underground Infrastructures design, and as a BIM Specialist will help by taking part into reaching strategic goals for use of BIM.
Requirements: knowledge, personal skills and experience required:
Relevant education as an engineer, technician or construction architect
More than 3 years of experience as BIM Manager/Coordinator in projects with multiple disciplines involved, like Structure Architecture, MEP, Geo
Experience in the production of coordinated Building Information Models
High Expertise with Civil 3D, Revit and Navisworks, as demonstrated by sophisticated use of software beyond just modelling 3D content
Familiar with visualization/presentation programs such as Infraworks, Lumion or similar.
Familiar with the interoperability between different software programs, like Civil 3D, Revit, Tekla, Microstation
Ability and willingness to learn new programs as required by individual projects
Ability to lead and manage a team effectively
You will be a confident communicator and presenter and possess excellent written and spoken English
Reporting to the Head of Section, you will be a member of our development BIM team at their Head Office, working on a wide range of structures globally. You will be accountable for BIM expertise / BIM delivery on multi-disciplinary projects, BIM development, as well as providing training of specific tools when required.

Duties & Responsibilities Include, but are not limited to:
Prepare and maintain Civil 3D, Revit models to allow simultaneous production by a large multi-person team without loss of productivity
Develop Models and Tunnels specific templates
Regularly review BIM model content, checking for errors and inconsistencies in the work of others, keeping files as small as possible through a systematic management process
Create and own the multidisciplinary spatial coordination responsibility for tunnels and underground infrastructures projects in 3D, taking into account coordination with structural, architectural, MEP and civil components
Create modelling protocols that allow for export of Civil 3D and Revit content to analysis and visualization software like Navisworks and to other BIM software such as Microstation, Tekla, Rhino, etc.
Customise intelligent components to optimise production of the entire Tunnels team. Having API knowledge for specifying or programming plug ins is an advantage
Run BIM kick-off meetings and develop BIM execution plans at the start of the project
Use Navisworks to coordinate BIM model with all design team members from other trades and demonstrate conflicts which must be resolved. Run BIM coordination meetings with other BIM technicians to resolve conflicts as much as possible
Be responsible for BIM file management for multiple projects, including file naming, versioning, viewports, paper sheet setup, scripts, etc, along with management of file transfer protocols in an organized fashion
Be capable of sharing your knowledge to the rest of the team by training sessions
