Employers FAQs

  • Click the ‘Join Us’ button located on the top right home page. Make sure to click ‘Im an employer’ before filling out the capture form. Fill out the capture form and click ‘sign up’.

  • To post a job click ‘post job’, you will need to fill out the job advert before purchasing packages or completing payment. 

    To post jobs using a package you have already purchased. Go to ‘Employers Dashboard’, Click the ‘Post a new job’, fill out your job post and click ‘Post job’. When you get to the ‘Payment’ section select the package you have already bought ‘Already Purchased’. If you click ‘detail’ this will show you how many jobs you have left in that package and how many you  have used.

  • If you want to make your job posting featured click the ‘Make this job featured’ button. This will charge you £100 to place this job posting on the front page and the top of listings. Then click ‘continue to pay’. You will then be redirected to a payment screen and/or a new payment window will open. Fill out your desired payment method and click ‘Place order’.

  • To manage applications go to the ‘Employer dashboard’ and click ‘Manage jobs’.

    Look for the job you would like to manage. Then click ‘applications’ here you will be able to see anyone who has applied for your job. Using the drop down boxes you are able to communicate with the candidate to let them know if they have been successful in their application or not. If you want to download CV’s, cover letters, contact applicants or view their profile. To edit the job post click the pen and paper icon at the end of the job listing. You will receive email notifications to confirm all changes to your profile or job posts.

  • When a candidate applies for your job advert, you will receive an email notification. You will receive contact details for the applicant in this email however to see more information you need to go to the ‘employer dashboard’, click ‘manage jobs’, click ‘applicants’ and find the corresponding applicant to your email.
  • Visit the ‘employer dashboard’ and select ‘manage Jobs’. Select the job posting and click ‘applications’.

    Click on the application you would like to edit. On the right hand side there are two drop down boxes. One changes the status of the job advert and the other is to view candidate information or contact the candidate.


  • Click on ‘manage jobs’ and then the ‘eye’ icon and click ‘activate or email info@tunneljobs.com with your job ID number.

  • Both your cover photo and profile picture have to be in the JPEG or PNG format.

Candidate FAQs

  • Click the ‘Join Us’ button located on the top right home page. Make sure to select ‘Candidate’ before filling out the form. Fill out the capture form and click ‘Sign up’. You will receive an email confirming your registration and with your username and password.

  • This is your candidate dashboard. From here you are able to look at jobs you have applied for, check their progress, set up job alerts and search for jobs.

  • Click ‘Search jobs’ on the main navigation menu and scroll through featured and standard job listings. Find jobs and apply. You will receive a notification email for each job you apply for. This email will state what job you have applied for and give you a link to the actual job itself. If anything changes in your application eg you are successful, you've been shortlisted, or the job has been removed you will receive an email.

    If an employer wants to make contact with you, they will send an email to your registered email address.

  • To add a job to your shortlist, search for the job you would like to shortlist. There is a button next to apply - ‘Shortlist’. By clicking this button the jobs will go into your shortlist area.


    NOTE: You have not applied for jobs by putting role’s into the shortlist box. To delete shortlisted jobs, go to your profile, click shortlist jobs and find the job you want to remove. There will be a bin icon at the end of the job information which will delete your shortlisted job.

  • To change your password, Go to your candidate dashboard, select the password section and follow the instructions. If you forget your password go to the login page and click ‘forgotten password' and you will receive an email if your password and username are in. 


  • The candidate package feature will be coming soon to tunneljobs.com.
  • You will receive an email from each job application to let you know if you are successful or rejected. You can also check the ‘Applied jobs’ section and look for ‘Status’ which will update you on how your application is going.
