Reporting to the Section Leader – Tunnels and Ground Engineering, as Senior Associate – Structural / Tunnel Engineer, you will be providing broad Tunnelling / Structural skills on large D & C/tender type tunnel projects, design package management and design skills capability to our project team.

The core technical skill suited to the role is structural design involving analytical/numerical skills associated with ground structure interaction modelling for tunnel support, retention systems and piling works, but also with suitable knowledge of concrete reinforcement and steel works detailing to be defined in design drawings. Any experience in tunnel support would be highly beneficial. The role includes managing and mentoring junior staff and the development of new client relationships and market opportunities. #APMETransport #ANZTransport #ANZTunnel

Here’s What You’ll Need

  • Extensive Structural engineering experience (tunnel experience a benefit) in a similar environment.
  • A solid background having worked on major and multidisciplinary Civil & Engineering projects.
  • Proven ability to deliver and provide technical leadership on projects.
  • Demonstrated ability to adapt to changing needs, conditions, priorities, and opportunities.
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to communicate content to the audience and a diverse set of stakeholders.
