Directing, supervising, and leading the development of preferred tunneling and underground structures options
Ensuring construction work is in compliance with the standard and specification of construction design, budget, plans and specification and are in accordance with building codes and regulations.
Applying, directing, and ensuring all aspects of the company’s policies, objectives and initiatives are correctly implemented and enforced.
Reviewing bid estimates for completeness and supporting labor/ resource/ plant and equipment requirements
Developing construction schedules that are in accordance with construction timelines outlined and creating milestones to measure progress against.
Examining contracts, identifying and conflicts and recommending resolutions.
Implementing and monitoring quality control, environmental, and health and safety programs and engaging in quality review of completed work.
Preparing all necessary sketches that are required to fulfill the contract requirements in accordance with Ontario standards.
Preparing economics projections and client progress updates periodically for monitoring the progress and schedule of projects.
Working closely with multidisciplinary design teams and engaging with key supply chain partners
Identifying and evaluation project risks and preparing mitigations strategies.
Overseeing site work and managing the work of numerous individuals.
Representing Dragados Canada both internally and externally.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

Degree in Civil or Mining Engineering- must have various TBM and SEM development and construction experience.
Experience working in the construction /engineering sector in a position of senior management with a large infrastructure construction company.
Demonstrated ability to effectively manage project staff and resolve issues.
Knowledge of proprietary methodologies and systems employed by Dragados; and
Extensive knowledge of the environmental, quality and safety skills used in the industry.
